The City of Spur is seeking (1) employee to take on a full-time position as City Technician. Duties will include, but are not limited to, assist in operations and maintenance of the City’s water and wastewater system in accordance with TCEQ rules and regulations; participate and assist in operations of a natural gas system in accordance with the Railroad Commission of Texas rules and regulations. General functions of public works, perform manual labor tasks; operate a variety of motorized and heavy equipment. Applicants must be available for after-hours duties, must live within five minutes of the City and be able to take on-call status periodically, as well as participate and assist in animal control duties.
