Seasonal Public Works

The City of New Richmond is accepting applications for a limited-term position this summer within the Public Works Department. Duties will include ground care and landscaping our parks and trails. Assistance in maintaining recreational facilities, playgrounds, ball fields and park shelters, as well as overflow work in other public works departments.

Applicants must be at least 18 years of age and possess a valid Wisconsin Driver’s License. Previous experience in landscaping, lawn maintenance and/or street maintenance in the public or private sector is preferred but not required. Must be able to lift 25-50 pounds on a regular basis and up to 75 pounds a few times per day. This is a limited-term position working during the summer. Hourly wage is $18.25 per hour.
