Job Posting – Senior Director The Augusta Canal Authority is seeking applicants for the position of Senior Director. This is an exciting, multifaceted senior leadership role in Augusta, GA. The historic Augusta Canal, built in 1845, was designed to provide waterpower, water supply, and transportation. It remains a significant resource—featuring important natural and urban areas that have played a pivotal role in the development of the city, state, and nation. The canal and its surroundings have been designated by Congress as a National Heritage Area, with goals centered on preservation, conservation, recreation, education, and economic development. The Augusta Canal is managed by its Board of Directors, with daily operations overseen by the Board Vice Chair.
