SUNY Broome Community College's Department of Mechanical Technology invites applications for a temporary Instructor or Assistant Professor for the 2026-2027 academic year. This is a full time, on campus position with the potential to become an ongoing, tenure track position. Ten (10) month salary is spread over twelve (12) months to allow for consistent, uninterrupted pay periods. We are seeking an experienced and dedicated educator to provide high-quality instruction and mentorship to students pursuing careers in Mechanical and Manufacturing Engineering Technology. The successful candidate will have a strong background in Mechanical Engineering Technology, with expertise in areas such as circuit analysis, electronics, and control As an Instructor/Assistant Professor, you'll be responsible for teaching undergraduate courses and contributing to the department's outreach activities. The salary will increase to $55,022 on September 1, 2026. Salary offer will be based on the candidate's qualifications and experience.
