Human Resources Coordinator

The Human Resources Coordinator at the Corporation of the Fine Arts Museums provides essential administrative and operational support to the HR Department and the museum staff at large. This role is primarily responsible for processing the full employee lifecycle-including new hires, terminations, and data changes-while coordinating closely with benefits carriers and payroll. The ideal candidate is extremely organized, highly flexible, and deeply customer-service oriented.

• Technical Proficiency: Highly proficient in MS Office / Google Suite, applicant tracking systems (ATS), and HRIS platforms (ADP Workforce Now strongly preferred).
• Compliance & Knowledge: Knowledgeable in California employment and labor laws, as well as hiring best practices.
• Communication & Discretion: Strong written and verbal communication skills; ability to exercise excellent professional judgment and maintain strict confidentiality.
• Organization & Accuracy: Exceptionally organized, analytical, and detail-oriented, with the ability to perform clerical duties with a high degree of accuracy.
